Contraindications: Pregnancy/lactation (insufficient data — avoid); constipation; tannin sensitivity; bleeding requiring diagnosis should not be self-treated.
Interactions: Tannins reduce iron/alkaloid/drug absorption; theoretical interaction with anticoagulants given haemostatic reputation.
Pregnancy & breastfeeding: Pregnancy/lactation: insufficient data — avoid.
